Hello there,

I'm looking for a Groupware that - besides other features - supports
Brainstorming and Voting. Also, the software should work perfeclty with
a bandwith below 50 MBit/s (the lower the bandwith requirements, the
better). Web-based Groupware is an option, but not mandatory.

I am aware of GroupSystems, but this Software caused lots of trouble
concerning our technical architecture. Briefly, we are looking for an
alternative for GroupSystems.

Do you have any recommendations? Field reports? Hints or tips? I'd
appreciate.

Thanks a lot in advance,

I think TWiki has a polling/voting module. Haven't tried it.

It does have a comments (?) module, which could be used in
brainstorming: posts new comments without going through the
edit/review/commit cycle.

Otherwise, fits the bill.

You might try www.pollquick.com/PQip

The first two meetings are free, no commitment necessary.
... has cool polling software that works with ANY Windows application
(PowerPoint, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, RealPlayer, etc.) WITHOUT
modification!
(The real-time, anonymous tally is displayed within the mouse
pointer).

Unusually easy to use (one button) for all voting. ...can use over
the Internet without any special hardware or company sells hardware
vote buttons that install permanently UNDER your conference table
(That's where they make the big bucks).

Cheers,
Bill
